The primary reason we went to Munich was to take Nate to the BMW museum. It was huge and the designers did an incredible job with the building itself and the displays. It was very modern and thoughtfully put together. He loved seeing the evolution of the BMW engines - from prop plane motor to jet engines to car engines - and how they changed through the years. Beau thought it was really interesting to see the evolution of the design of the car itself beginning with the first one in 1929.
The evening featured a tour of the Christmas markets and some incredible churches. Then Nate and I hit up another beer hall - which is supposed to be the most popular one. It was fun listening to the live music and hanging out.
