This review is a bit harder - I missed a full day since I had to go back to Chicago, and the (half) day we had free it poured. That said, we loved having Brayden and Carlie with us and overall had a great time.
Pros: Easy to get around (bus, train, Uber/Bolt), the overall vibe, good food options, flamenco!, Chiefs House
Cons: Airport lines, it’s pretty spread out, Coca-Cola Light ππΌ, language barrier (because we don’t speak Spanish), lots of trash everywhere
Lodging:
Day 1: Smartr Madrid Chueca was a great location, right in the heart of one of the shopping and eating areas with luggage storage close by. It wasn’t the best property, though, so next time find something else in the area.
Day 2: Victoria Chic Suites Co & 4 was in a neighborhood and you had to really know where things were to find restaurants. Probably wouldn’t stay in this area again, but the property itself was pretty great.
